Maehem News: OSIAH Premiere “Ascension” Music Video via Slam Worldwide

British deathcore heavyweights OSIAH have unveiled a new Loki Films (Soilwork, Ingested) directed music video for their track “Ascension” today at Slam Worldwide. The song is from the group’s devastatingly heavy forthcoming new album Kingdom of Lies, which has a May 3rd release date on Unique Leader.

The vicious 11 track effort was recorded, mixed, and mastered by bassist Andy Mallaby and features some of the most pummeling and merciless deathcore on the planet. Having been referred to as “the heaviest band in the UK” by Metal Hammer, Kingdom of Lies establishes OSIAH as one of the most extreme and unrelenting voices in their genre.

The group commented on the video, “Ascension is the 2nd single from our upcoming sophomore album “Kingdom of Lies,” set for release 3rd May 2019.  We’d like to thank everyone for all their support and pre-orders so far, and we’d like to give a super special shout out to Shaun Hodson of Loki Films for his never ending support from day one, and for his talents making our vision a reality.”

Bassist Andy Ballaby explained the video’s storyline “The tale of the Kindgom of Lies takes a dark twist, as our protagonist receives harrowing visions from his omniscient precursors, his journey reveals to him the origins of humanity, and the truth behind the horrors of the Terror Firma virus.

With this great knowledge, he is embued with telluric powers, and so – this; is his great ascension.”
