Old Stardust, Love, and Chaos” Out September 6, 2019 Western Canadian Tour Dates
Since starting on their musical journey in 2015 from the ashes of a previous endeavour, JULIET RUIN has been working tirelessly to make a name for themselves in the Canadian music scene. Making their way across local stages and appearing at several Western Canadian festivals, JULIET RUIN will be unleashing their first full-length album “Old Stardust, Love and Chaos” on September 6, 2019 to follow their 2017 debut self titled EP.
Earlier this summer, the Edmonton based band released their first single ‘Seasons‘, a song about the goddess of spring and hell in Greek mythology along with being a nod to badass women everywhere.
Now they are ready to drop their second banger ‘Spite’ with an exciting video that gives a dose of harsh truth via an exclusive premiere on PureGrainAudio.com here.
The band adds:
“‘Spite’ is one of the heaviest on the album, being the very first song where Jess screams entire verses. This song is an honest look at what it is like to regain perspective after dealing with a narcissistic force in one’s life. Spite’s courses are surprisingly upbeat in theme and sound, especially in contrast to the angry verses. It starts intense and continues to intensify throughout.”
Fans of forward-thinking modern metal such as Evanescence, System of a Down, and Killswitch Engage should take special note of this powerful and emotive Canadian band.
The ten-track album “Old Stardust, Love, and Chaos” showcases a brand that is all their own. They describe their new album as staying true to their roots while continuing to tinker with their sound:
“’Old Stardust, Love, and Chaos’ stays true to a lot of our root qualities in terms of catchy hooks and overall groove, but fans can expect a lot of new and even somewhat experimental things on the album as well. Lyrically speaking this album delves into a little bit deeper subject matter than the EP, focusing a lot of personal introspection and mental health, as well as general societal concerns from differing degrees of headspace; from optimism to apathy.”
KING DIAMOND will embark on a North American headlining tour later year. The trek will commence on November 2nd and run through December 4th. Support will be provided by Uncle Acid And The Deadbeats and Idle Hands.

Fans can expect the debut single to arrive this Fall and an album in 2020; in the meantime, a tour teaser with a sneak peak of the new stage set can be viewed at: youtu.be/AdoUczDwKh4KING DIAMOND remarks about the upcoming full-length, “For reasons unknown to you, it is clear that you have no way of making it to The Institute on your own at this point. Swiss black metal pioneers S A M A E L release new video for the title track off their latest album “Hegemony”
The legendary quartet starts their tour throughout Europe tomorrow:
S A M A E L are widely known for their Industrial Black Metal armed with wind sections passing through shivering synthesizers. On point and frighteningly brutal, fiery whirlwinds of hypnotic hammering riff forces overlay gruesomely gurgling vocals driving you over the edge.
S A M A E L awakened on the 14th of July 1988 when brothers Xytraguptor and Vorphalack loaded their musical gear into an atomic bunker. Almost 20 years after that day the band experienced a rebirth with the release of “Solar Soul” (2007). The album, co-produced by longtime producer Waldemar Sorychta and mixed by Stefan Glaumann (Rammstein, Within Temptation…) is now fully remastered and will be released with the addition of 9 bonus tracks (2 remixes, 6 instrumental songs, 1x live track).
After resurrecting black metal in the early ’90’s with their debut album “Worship Him,” introducing symphonic metal in 1994 with “Ceremony of Opposites” and pioneering industrial metal with “Passage” in 1996 ; S A M A E L released “Lvx Mvndi” in 2011, a record that built a bridge over the 20+ years of the band’s history by melting all sides and personalities of the band into a masterpiece. Now the album has been remixed from stems, remastered and will be released with the addition of 7 bonus tracks.

On April 13th 2019, the UFO family woke up to the tragic news that our bandmate Paul Raymond had died of a heart attack. It had been just a week since we finished the first leg of our “LAST ORDERS TOUR” in the UK.
While mourning his loss, sadly we also had to face the reality of what to do with the band. We feel moving forward with the tour is the right thing to do. We all know this is what Paul would have wanted us to do.
We are therefore very pleased to announce that our friend and former bandmate Neil Carter has agreed to join us again and take over the keyboards/guitar and vocals slot for the remainder of the tour. Neil was already part of the family between 1981 and 1983, playing on the albums “The Wild, The Willing And The Innocent”, “Mechanix” and “Making Contact”. Before he joined UFO he was in Wild Horses, later he continued his career with Gary Moore.
Together with Neil, we will bring our 2019 LAST ORDERS TOUR to a close. We want to make sure that all our amazing fans get a fantastic experience out of it one more time.

And the world has changed. Axel Rudi Pell hasn’t. For three decades, the Bochum-based guitarist has ticked and worked like a Swiss clock releasing critically acclaimed hard rocking albums consistently. Like his anniversary offering, a live document of his most recent tour. And it will come out on the same record company as his debut in 1989; his contract with legendary label SPV/Steamhammer having lasted longer than the average marriage these days. “SPV and I have grown together, we have witnessed highs and lows and we’ve managed to get through them all,” the 58-year-old musician states with a smile. “Never change a winning team” is the secret of his success. Having sold more than 1.6 million records so far, Pell also has a ridiculous amount of online streams: his songs have been streamed more than 37.5 million times, figures he would never have dreamt of when he first started out.
“XXX Anniversary Live”, his 30th album release in as many years, will see the light of day on June 7th 2019. A milestone by all accounts and a stunning document of his most recent tour which he did not plan at all, but the recordings, from Bochum and Budapest among others, were so good that he felt he just couldn’t scrap them. They are a worthy follow-up to “Magic Moments”, his 3-hour anniversary show at the ‘Bang Your Head’ festival in 2014, where he celebrated 25 years as a solo artist. BTW: Pell is planning to bring out another studio effort in spring 2020. The Swiss clock from the Ruhr area is till ticking.
